The Sony Bravia ex720 LED 3D HDTV series comes in 32", 40", 46", 55" and up to 60" HDTV. This Sony LED 3D TV is a full 1080p, even in 3D mode. Enjoy incredible depth and a sharp, full HD 1080p picture from a leader in 3D technology (3D Active Glasses will be required, they are sold separately). To try to get the Sony quality picture you are accustomed to, this Sony Bravia HDTV uses LED technology. The LED technology allows Sony to make this TV with an LCD display for a very thin design. The colors are bright and vivid, just what you'd come to expect from a Sony Bravia product. The HDTV sits very low to the base that allows the tv to swivel.

When it comes to action, the Sony Bravia ex720 series runs at refresh rate of 240hz. With this type of refresh rate, this allows individual frames to be refreshed much quicker than a normal TV. The result is a smoother, clearer picture with less motion blur. The TV also has active shutter technology to produce the same effects in 3D, namely a smooth, crisp picture with no blurring. Skype is available from the comfort of your living room through the Sony Bravia ex720 series tv's. Simply attach the Sony compact microphone/camera for Skype (required, sold separately) and see your friends on the big screen. You can have full HD Skype to Skype video calls.

Wi Fi Ready! - Sony has made the HDTV wifi ready, but you will need an adaptor sold separately, the UWA-BR100 Wi-Fi adapter. You do have to choice to hard wire to the tv using an ethernet connection. The wifi capable Sony Bravia ex720 series allows you to stream movies, music, photos and more directly from your home network to your tv. However, browsing the internet using the onscreen version seemed a bit cumbersome and slow. There is also an USB port to upload from USB drives to view on this awesome hdtv.

Energy Star ready. The Sony Bravia kdl60ex720 naturally has the Energy Star features. The tv even has an automatic shutoff feature to help conserve energy. This feature is called the Presence Sensor, the tv has the ability to monitor the room using movement technology. If the tv doesn't detect any movement in the room, it turns off the video portion of the tv. If more time elapses and there's still no movement, it turns off the tv completely.

HDMI - Yes! There are 4 HDMI connections, which is more than enough. 1 is on the side and 3 in the back. Perfect for all your hdmi needs. I haven't spoken about the sound quality from the built in speakers. It is adequate for any size ex720 LED 3D HDTV.
